Tommy Defrancisci is a member of Charlotte Fire Fighters IAFF Local 660, which supports Nation’s Bravest. Local 660′s own Charlotte Firefighter’s Fund supports a wide variety of organizations, such as Charlotte Fire Firefighters’ Benevolent Fund, NC Special Olympics, Charlotte Observer’s Literacy Program, Purple Heart Homes, Charlotte Fire Fighters’ Burned Children’s Fund, Charlotte Fire Fighters’ Burn Out Program (CFFA donation to families that lost property due to fire), and a carbon monoxide and smoke detector program to provide protection to the citizens of Charlotte.
Mr. Charlotte hails from New Jersey where he served as a volunteer firefighter before moving to Charlotte to pursue his passion full time. He plays hockey for the department hockey team, is an avid Harley motorcyclist, and enjoys mountain biking and rock climbing on the side. He is a US Marine Reservist.
