Chris Stiles is a member of Las Vegas Firefighters IAFF Local 1285, which supports Nation’s Bravest. Local 1285 has teamed up with the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation to assist burn victims and their families, residents of Southern Nevada who have lost their homes to fire, and various community outreach programs. The Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation consists of fire department active personnel from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, Clark County, Henderson, and North Las Vegas Fire Departments. In 2007, 48 Las Vegas valley families received assistance, and the “Fill the Fire Truck” Toy Drive involved hundreds of volunteers who helped collect 13,000 toys and gifts that were distributed to 10,000 Las Vegas children in need.
Mr. Las Vegas, born and raised in Las Vegas, loves to be outdoors. In addition to riding his motorcycle and snowboarding, he currently enjoys down hill mountain biking, often visiting Bootleg Canyon just outside Las Vegas. He plays the tenor drum for the Local 1285 Honor Guard, and recently acted as a counselor at “Camp Beyond the Scars” hosted yearly in San Diego by the Burn Institute.
